hey there, dancers and drummers -

Remember, Camp Fareta is coming up soon -- July 6-13 in central California -- with an amazing line-up of master drummers and dancers from Guinea, Senegal, and Mali, hosted by Youssouf Koumbassa. There are work-exchange opportunities, group rates if you get together a group of eight or more from your area, and you can pay by Paypal. Prices go up after June 23, so now is the time to register.

Check http://dancingvillage.com/ for all the details, including a registration form and lots of photos from the last two years. The vibe is sweet and harmonious, there will be a delicious international menu prepared by a former Esalen chef, including some African meals, and the location, near Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, is beautiful. It's an amazing opportunity for a West African immersion without leaving the States. We hope you'll join us!

peace,
