There are several places to contact the west african tribe in Portland. There are dance classes at Dishman Cener on Tuesday night and drumming on Thursday night at Center Space with Sekou, and drumming classes on Saturday at Rhthm Traders with Caton(I will probably be there) . Drop me a line and we can hook up or I can give you the addresses and times for the classes. What are the days you will be here? Also, where in the high desert are you from, as I grew up in the Antelope Valley which is probably close to you.
