Les Percussions Malinke is an inspired percussion ensemble specializing in the vibrant rhythms, songs, and dances of Guinea, West Africa. Les Percussions Malinke master drummer and showman, Bolokada Conde, heads a troupe of charismatic and culturally diverse musicians and drummers from Africa and the world. A tour de force in concert, the group delights audiences with a joyous, high-energy spectacle awash in light and color.

Bolokada is renowned as a gifted folklorist and a djembefola - a master of the djembe. For years he toured the US and internationally with Les Percussions de Guinée and gained a worldwide reputation as one of the most exciting and dynamic djembe players alive.
