due to my architorture job, i can't get off to go to far away weeklong festivals like Starwood. i'm looking for some that are more in the new england area, focussed on drum circles, and awesome even if i can only make weekend dates. can anyone recommend any to me? thanks so much!

Re: new england drumming?
Wed, October 24, 2007 - 10:51 PMI've been away from Tribe for a long while and just came back and saw your post. Check the website for Dance New England -- dne.org -- because somewhere on the site is a list of various kinds of events around the country and the world. Some are freestyle boogies, some are contact jams, some are drum jams. You might find something there.
In the Boston area, you could try <Alan@DrumConnection.com> -- he organizes various drum events -- and wadabo.com. There's also Earth Drum Council, if they still exist.
I hope this isn't all too late...good luck!
